Undre Reed is a dynamic and dedicated dance instructor known for his boundless energy and fresh approach to teaching. With a passion for dance that shines through in every class, Undre consistently gives his all to inspire and uplift his students.

 

Undre's journey into dance began with his first class in West African and Contemporary dance. He quickly expanded his repertoire, gaining experience in multiple genres. By the age of 13, he was already performing professionally with "The Barefoot Collective," marking the start of a promising career. At 15, he began teaching hip hop at the YMCA, demonstrating his talent and dedication early on.

 

During his high school years, Undre was deeply involved in show choir, choreographing performances and leading dance teams. His passion for dance led him to explore swing and Lindy Hop, taking his first class in 2017 and studying under renowned instructors such as Ben White, David Accurso, Amee Bahr, Elaine Buchignani, and Jovon Miller.

 

After graduating, Undre immersed himself in swing, Lindy Hop, and vernacular jazz, further refining his skills. His career has seen him collaborate with numerous non-profit dance organizations, clubs, ballrooms, and even wedding events, bringing his expertise and enthusiasm to a wide range of settings. His talent and dedication have earned him numerous awards and accolades in dance competitions.
