April 22nd-24th OlyDance is hosting a weekend of dancing, workshops, live music, and shows! Our goal is to build and practice community that supports individuals and heals trauma through dance, music, creativity, human connection, humor, joy, and participation.

Dance to his magic Friday and Saturday at the Spring Gathering. David Portugal (DJ Oso) is a musician, producer, and music enthusiast. Hailing out of Tumwater WA, David has had over 20+ years to develop his amalgamation of sound. His emotive music selections are his own therapy. His love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing music and is dedicated to sharing his love for music. This translates into sets where he infuses all the pieces of music that every music lover could appreciate.

Out-of-town folks will be welcomed by locals that choose to open their homes. This is a great way to get to know the larger dance community! Send us an Email if you would like to be hosted. Incase our friends are reading this, email us or talk to us in person if you would like to host out of towners.
Workshops (6 total)
We are in the process of hiring local and regional dance teachers to teach a variety of classes. We will definitely have Lindy hop, Salsa, Bachata, and Fusion classes. We might add other Latin styles and maybe zouk and blues. There will be 3 Workshops on Saturday and 3 workshops on Sunday. All swing workshops will be on Sunday
Volunteer Opportunities
We love volunteers at OlyDance! They help us keep ticket prices lower and more accessible. Most dance weekends are around $250 Volunteer for free or reduced admission depending on your commitment. Just send us an Email at OlympiaDances@gmail.com
